Refund & cancellation policy

We want you to love Garden Colour Plan. If you don't, we make it easy to cancel and get your money back. Here's exactly how it works.

The short version

  • ✅ Cancel any time — no fees, no minimum term, one click in your account.
  • ✅ 14-day money-back guarantee on your first Premium or Annual payment.
  • ✅ Keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • ✅ Refunds processed within 5–10 working days to your original payment method.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription in two ways:

  1. From your account settings — click "Manage subscription" and then "Cancel".
  2. By emailing support@gardencolourplan.co.ukfrom the address on your account.

We'll send a confirmation email. You'll keep access to Premium features (unlimited plans, monthly reminders, frost alerts) until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan and your saved garden plan stays viewable.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you upgrade to Premium (£3.99/month) or Annual (£29/year) and decide within 14 days of your first payment that it isn't for you, email us and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no questions, no hassle.

The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription only — it does not apply to subsequent monthly or annual renewals.

Refunds after 14 days

  • We don't offer refunds on past billing periods after the 14-day window has passed.
  • You can still cancel at any time and you won't be charged again.
  • If you've been charged in error (duplicate payment, charge after cancellation, or similar), contact us within 30 days and we'll investigate and refund any genuine errors in full.

Annual subscribers

Annual subscribers may request a prorated refund within the first 14 days only. After 14 days, the annual payment is non-refundable, but you can cancel auto-renewal at any time so you won't be charged for another year.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails (e.g. expired card), Stripe will automatically retry over several days and we'll email you. If all retries fail, your subscription is cancelled and your account reverts to the Free plan — no further action needed from you.

How to request a refund

Email support@gardencolourplan.co.ukwith:

  • Subject line: Refund request
  • The email address on your account
  • Approximate date of payment (optional, but helps us find it faster)

We aim to reply within one working day and process eligible refunds within 5–10 working days back to your original payment method (debit or credit card).

Your statutory rights

If you are a UK consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel digital services under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our 14-day money-back guarantee meets or exceeds these rights. Nothing in this policy affects your non-waivable rights as a consumer.
